On July 19, 2018, 21-year-old Miles Peters was fatally shot in Grand Prairie, Texas. Peters, who was from nearby Arlington, was found suffering from a gunshot wound on the 2500 block of West Interstate 20 just after midnight. He was transported to a hospital but later pronounced dead.
