Dr. Mark Hausknecht, a 65-year-old Caucasian male, was a renowned cardiologist at the Texas Medical Center in Houston, TX. On July 20, 2018, while riding his bicycle to work, Dr. Hausknecht was tragically shot and killed by Joseph James Pappas, a former deputy constable.
