Chandrakant Patel, a 60-year-old man of Indian ethnicity, was tragically shot and killed on August 4, 2019, at a Texaco convenience store located at 15000 Old Humble Road in Houston, Texas. Patel was working as a store clerk when two armed robbers entered the store. During the robbery, one of the suspects jumped over the counter, grabbed cash, and in the process, shot Patel.
