Johnny Paramo Torres, a 25-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on August 4, 2018, in Houston, Texas. He was an innocent victim of gang violence, specifically targeted by members of the notorious MS-13 gang. Torres was visiting Houston when he got into a verbal altercation with three Hispanic men inside the La Union Restaurant. The dispute escalated, and as Torres exited the restaurant, he was shot in the face by one of the men.
