In the late evening of May 31, 2026, the life of 42-year-old Jose Luis Trujillo Jr. was tragically cut short on a sidewalk in Houston's East End. Just before 9 p.m., residents in the 7200 block of Canal Street were startled by the sound of multiple gunshots.
