Daman Whitfield, a 38-year-old man from Houston, Texas, was fatally shot on July 26, 2018, during an argument in the driveway of his home in the Acres Homes neighborhood. The incident occurred around 11:45 p.m., when Whitfield was talking with another man in his driveway at the intersection of Cebra and Wilburforce. An argument ensued, and Whitfield was shot in the head. He was found lying on the ground with a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
