Pierre Childs, aged 16, was tragically killed on May 7, 2013, in St. Louis, Missouri. Childs was shot while walking with his younger brother to a nearby corner store, reportedly to buy some candy. The incident occurred in the afternoon in the 5900 block of Anderson Avenue. Childs was struck in the back during a drive-by shooting, suggesting that he was not the intended target, but rather an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire.
