In the spring of 2013 in St. Louis, Missouri, a season that should have been filled with the promise of approaching summer and graduation for many high schoolers, was tragically cut short for one young man. Pierre Childs, a 16-year-old male student at Sumner High School, became a victim of the city's ongoing gun violence.
