Fabian Stewart, aged 27, was shot and killed on June 6, 2013, in the Walnut Park East neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. in the 5900 block of Thekla Avenue. Officers arrived at the scene to find Stewart suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders. Witnesses reported hearing several gunshots and observed a vehicle speeding away, but no suspects were immediately identified.
