Roylee Pate, a 28-year-old African American comedian from Dallas, Texas, tragically passed away on October 13, 2018, due to complications from a gunshot wound. Pate was shot in the leg on September 25, 2018, while in Paris, Texas, for a comedy show. He underwent surgery for the injury but later developed a blood clot in his lungs, which led to his untimely death.
