Keyunte Lewis, 19, a Black male, was found shot on the morning of July 21, 2025, in the 2500 block of Bahama Drive in West Oak Cliff. Dallas police were dispatched around 8:10 a.m. and discovered Keyunte Lewis wounded at the scene; Dallas Fire-Rescue took him to a local hospital where he died. The department opened a homicide investigation under case number 103596-2025.
