On July 8, 2013, Alfred Marshall, age 33, was killed in a shooting in north St. Louis, Missouri. Two gunmen opened fire at an apartment complex, resulting in the death of Marshall and injuring two others. The incident took place in the 1300 block of Hodiamont Avenue, an area known for its high crime rate. Despite an active investigation by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the case remains unsolved, and no arrests have been made in connection with the homicide.
