Edward Blaylock, a 51-year-old man from Tyler, TX, was tragically shot and killed on January 7, 2019. The incident occurred at his home during an argument with his son, Tony Chase. The argument escalated, and Chase shot Blaylock seven times. Chase claimed he acted in self-defense, fearing for his life as he alleged Blaylock was lunging at him.
