Melina Lopez, a 23-year-old Hispanic woman, tragically lost her life on February 15, 2019, in Houston, TX. She was the manager at a Dunkin' Donuts store on Memorial Drive when she was fatally shot by her boyfriend, the father of her two young daughters. The incident was later determined to be a murder-suicide, as the boyfriend took his own life immediately after the shooting.
The Houston Police Department responded to the scene after receiving reports of a shooting at the doughnut shop.
