Jordan Hawkins, a 19-year-old male from Waco, Texas, tragically lost his life on April 15, 2019. He was fatally shot in the 3100 block of Colonial Avenue around 4:30 p.m. Hawkins was transported to Providence Hospital by a private vehicle, where he was later pronounced dead. The incident occurred following an argument that escalated into a physical altercation involving several individuals.
Later that evening, another person who was also shot during the same incident came forward and reported the shooting to the police. An autopsy was ordered to determine the exact cause of death.
