Xavier Z. Washington, an 18-year-old African American male from Elizabeth City, NC, tragically lost his life on December 19, 2006. Xavier was shot to death by Samuel Junior Jackson, his mother's boyfriend, during a domestic dispute at their home on Uncle Buddy Drive. The incident occurred shortly after a police officer had left the residence following a report of verbal abuse by Jackson.
