DeVonte Duncan, a 17-year-old male of African American ethnicity from Garland, Texas, tragically died on May 21, 2019. He was fatally shot during an altercation with another teenager, Sabir Arebo Adem, who was 18 years old at the time. The incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. in the 2000 block of Highwood Drive, near East Miller Road.
