In the early hours of March 17, 2024, Garland police responded to a shooting at a residence in the 4900 block of Captains Place. Upon arrival, officers discovered 20-year-old Dallas resident, Drevon Bowman, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
