On the night of August 6, 2019, Dallas police officers responded to a shooting incident at a residence on Penelope Street near Fitzhugh Avenue in South Dallas. Upon arrival, they discovered 34-year-old Kevin Robinson, an African American male, deceased from gunshot wounds inside his home. A woman and a 13-year-old boy were also present during the incident but were unharmed.
