Fredrick Myers, a 42-year-old African American man from Dallas, TX, was fatally shot on August 10, 2019. Myers was the owner of the Kingz of Cutz barbershop in South Dallas, where he was well-known for his generosity and community involvement. He often provided jobs, meals, and school supplies to those in need. On the day of his death, Myers was shot by Alexis Bowman, a former employee who had been causing trouble at the shop.
