Raymond Bernard Johnson, a 60-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 2, 2019, in Jewett, Texas. The incident occurred on a Wednesday night, and it was reported that Johnson died at the scene following an altercation. The Leon County Sheriff’s Office and Texas Rangers responded to the shooting, which took place off Country Road 322 near Jewett, Texas.
