On April 22, 2007, Dario Garcia, aged 22, was killed after a violent incident at a party in Houston, Texas. During the gathering, an altercation erupted, and Garcia, along with his friends, attempted to leave the scene on bicycles after hearing gunshots. As they tried to depart, they were followed and blocked by a pickup truck. The driver of the truck then deliberately hit Garcia's bicycle, causing Garcia to be dragged beneath it while his friend was thrown off and survived.
Alfredo Martinez was identified as the primary suspect. He allegedly targeted Garcia and his friends, mistakenly believing them to be responsible for the earlier gunshots at the party. Authorities later found evidence at the scene that led them to Martinez, who has since been wanted for murder. He was profiled on "America's Most Wanted" as a fugitive, but as of the latest updates, he remains at large.
