Edward Roland Valdez, a 72-year-old man from San Antonio, Texas, tragically lost his life on March 23, 2020. He was fatally shot while sleeping in his truck under the Interstate 37 overpass in downtown San Antonio. The incident occurred around 3 a.m., when two masked gunmen approached Valdez's truck and shot him. Valdez was found unresponsive by EMS and later pronounced dead at Brooke Army Medical Center.
