On June 24, 2020, Christopher Branham, a 26-year-old man from Round Rock, Texas, was brutally attacked and murdered. Branham was beaten unconscious and robbed in a mob-style attack at a Round Rock motel. The attackers, including Kyle Cleveland and Anthony Davis, pretended to drive him to the hospital but instead took him to a cornfield near Manor, where he was shot twice in the back of the head. Branham's body was not discovered for another 37 days.
