On September 25, 2021, Brandon Sims, a 30-year-old male from Round Rock, Texas, was found dead at the WoodSpring Suites hotel located at 1950 North Interstate 35. The Round Rock Police Department responded to a report of gunshots at approximately 1:30 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Sims deceased at the scene. There were no other reported injuries. Detectives are investigating his death as a homicide.
