On June 29, 2020, 17-year-old Moses Johnson was tragically killed in a shooting incident in San Antonio, Texas. Johnson, a young Black male, was walking with a 15-year-old friend near the 100 block of Aztec Alley when a 50-year-old man named Gilberto Perez allegedly opened fire on them from his vehicle. Johnson returned fire but was struck and later died at the hospital. The other teenager was unharmed.
