On July 4, 2020, Latonia Johnson, a 50-year-old woman from Madison, Tennessee, was tragically killed in a shooting at the Rothwood Apartments. Johnson was found in the back parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m., and police were called to the scene shortly after.
