On July 11, 2020, 17-year-old Jocelyn Chairez, a Hispanic female, was found deceased in the garage of her family home in Baytown, Texas. The Baytown Police Department responded to a report of multiple shots fired at the residence on Rollingcreek Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered Jocelyn's body, along with her 49-year-old mother, Norma Martinez, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Norma Martinez was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital for treatment.
