William Oliver, a 20-year-old man from Grand Prairie, Texas, was fatally shot on July 23, 2020. He was taken to a local hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. The incident occurred around 9:20 p.m. in the 5800 block of Candlelight Lane. Detectives believe that Oliver was not randomly targeted.
