Maximo Fernandez Castillo, a 52-year-old Hispanic man, tragically lost his life on September 2, 2020, in Dallas, Texas. He was fatally shot in the 2500 block of Wood Valley Road around 11:25 p.m. Castillo was later pronounced dead at a hospital. The Dallas Police Department's Homicide Unit took over the investigation, and Det. Grubbs was assigned to the case.
