Ja Ray Malik Hollywood, an 18-year-old African American male from Garland, Texas, tragically lost his life on October 26, 2020. He was fatally shot at an apartment community on the 600 block of Broadway Commons. When police arrived at the scene, they found Hollywood and another man, Kevon Knnard Livingston, who had been shot. Hollywood was pronounced dead at the scene, while Livingston was taken to the hospital with injuries and is expected to survive.
