Sacramento Pena-Gutierrez, a 58-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on December 3, 2020, in Houston, Texas. He was working as a security guard at a location on Lawndale Street when he was approached by three male suspects who exited a newer-model, black Chevrolet pickup truck. The suspects shined a flashlight in his face and then shot him, leading to his immediate death at the scene.
The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction immediately after the shooting.
The Houston Police Department released surveillance photos of the suspects and urged anyone with information to come forward. Detectives A. Dudley and M. Arrington from the HPD Homicide Division were assigned to the case. Despite ongoing investigations, no arrests have been made, and the suspects remain at large.
