In the late hours of a Friday in Houston, a verbal dispute in the parking lot of a convenience store tragically escalated, ending the life of 49-year-old Glenn Godfrey Grey on February 20, 2026. The incident unfolded in northwest Houston, where law enforcement was called to the scene in the 12000 block of Bamnel North Houston Road following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr.
Grey with fatal gunshot wounds.
While authorities were still processing the scene at the convenience store, a development in the case emerged at a local hospital. A man, later identified as Albert F. Williams, had arrived seeking treatment for multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators connected Williams to the shooting of Grey and, upon questioning, Williams reportedly admitted to his involvement in the altercation that led to the shooting.
Following his confession, Albert F. Williams was taken into custody by the Harris County Sheriff's Office Violent Criminal Apprehension Team.
