Travis Leon Rowden, a 47-year-old man from Houston, Texas, tragically passed away on December 6, 2020. He was born on November 21, 1973, and worked for many years as a Pro Xtra Desk expert at Home Depot. Rowden was known for his love of fishing, cooking, drinking a cold beer, and spending time with friends and family. He is survived by his siblings, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Rowden's death was the result of a fatal road rage incident.
On December 4, 2020, Davion Potts, a 22-year-old man, fired three rounds into Rowden's truck near the intersection of N. Houston Rosslyn and Hwy 249. This incident was believed to be a case of road rage. Potts was arrested four days later and charged with murder. However, Potts was later killed in a convenience store shooting in December 2021, and his murder case was dismissed.
Rowden's sister, Angela Pesina, expressed her grief and frustration over the situation. She hoped that Potts would have the opportunity to change his life and make better choices. Unfortunately, Potts' death meant that he never faced trial for Rowden's murder.
The loss of Travis Leon Rowden has deeply affected his family and friends, who continue to remember him fondly and honor his memory.
