On January 21, 2023, 14-year-old Carlos Lugo was last seen when his mother dropped him off at a friend's apartment on Tidwell in Houston, Texas. Two days later, on January 23, he was reported missing after failing to return home or contact his family, which was uncharacteristic of him.
