On August 26, 2024, at approximately 3:35 a.m., Houston police officers responded to a shooting incident at 10401 West Bellfort Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 38-year-old Jessie Quiroz lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
