He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The Dallas Police Department is investigating his death as a homicide.
Authorities have identified Roman Ramirez Jr. as a person of interest in connection with the shooting. The police have asked anyone with information to come forward and have offered a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
