Manuel "Manny" Anzaldua III, a 54-year-old Hispanic man from Dallas, Texas, tragically passed away on March 14, 2019. Manny was born on August 26, 1964, in Bay City, Texas, and later moved to Dallas, where he worked as the manager of The Vineyards at Forest Edge Apartments in far northeast Dallas. apartment complex around 3 p.m. As he exited his car, he was approached by two men who attempted to rob him. During the ensuing struggle, one of the attackers pulled out a gun and shot Manny, who was later pronounced dead at a hospital. The Dallas Police Department, which had a close working relationship with Manny, was deeply affected by his death and co-hosted a barbecue to help raise funds for his funeral costs.
Following the incident, police arrested two suspects, Janelius Howard and Quinderrius Johnson, both 17 years old at the time, and charged them with capital murder.
