On March 8, 2024, Erik Hurtado, a 31-year-old resident of Dallas, Texas, was fatally shot at the intersection of Lake June Road and Masters Drive. Upon arrival, Dallas Police officers found Hurtado suffering from gunshot wounds. He was promptly transported by Dallas Fire Rescue to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
