On March 6, 2021, Anabel Rodriguez, a 33-year-old Hispanic woman, was found fatally shot in her apartment in Garland, Texas. The incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. when police were called to the apartment complex on West Walnut Street. Upon arrival, officers found two young children crying and asking for help. Inside the apartment, they discovered Anabel Rodriguez suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
