On July 19, 2015, Shelby Polk III, aged 35, was shot and killed in the Soulard neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred in the early morning hours at around 2:48 a.m. when police heard gunshots and responded to the scene near 1547 S. 7th Street.
