Gerardo Ramirez, a 53-year-old man from Midland, Texas, tragically died on March 13, 2021, after sustaining injuries from a drive-by shooting. He was initially taken to Midland Memorial Hospital and later transferred to a hospital in Lubbock, where he succumbed to his injuries on March 30, 2021.

The investigation into Ramirez's death led to the arrest of Arturo Reyes, a 30-year-old man from Midland. Reyes was charged with first-degree murder and held on a $1 million bond. According to the ...
