On October 17, 2021, Gilberto Tapia-Lopez, a 35-year-old man from Midland, Texas, tragically lost his life in a triple murder incident. The shooting occurred around 2:00 a.m. on the 1200 block of E CR 124 in South Midland County. Tapia-Lopez, along with two other victims, 23-year-old James Davidson and 29-year-old Walter Ayala, were found dead from gunshot wounds.
