David Morales, a 29-year-old male, tragically lost his life on June 21, 2018, in Midland, Texas. Morales was fatally shot during an altercation at a Whataburger on Interstate 20. The incident occurred when Julio Cesar Lopez-Beltran got into an argument with two other individuals, which escalated and resulted in the shooting of Morales and another person. Morales succumbed to his injuries, while the other victim survived.
