Chris Edward Lacy, a 52-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on April 28, 2021, in Dallas, TX. The incident occurred around 12:25 a.m. at 2627 Meyers Street. Lacy was one of two men who were shot at the scene and subsequently transported to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, Lacy succumbed to his injuries, while the other man was expected to recover.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office identified Lacy through fingerprint analysis.
Despite the severity of the incident, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and the motive remains under investigation. Authorities are actively seeking information and have offered a reward of $5,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
