Abdias Benitez, an 18-year-old male, was tragically found shot inside a red SUV in the 9500 block of South Gessner Road in southwest Houston on the morning of June 17, 2021. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics. The young man had suffered a gunshot wound to the right arm. The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction, and at the time, there were no known suspects or motives.
