Charlie Gentry, a 46-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically shot and killed on June 29, 2021, while sitting on the front porch of a home in Richmond, Texas. According to police reports, Gentry was taking care of an elderly person who lived at the residence. The incident occurred just before 5 a.m., when two men in an older model four-door white vehicle pulled up to the home. One of the men got out, called Gentry by name, and then shot him.
