Tonya Davis Anderson, a 44-year-old woman, was tragically shot to death on July 20, 2021, in her apartment in Spring, a suburb of Houston, Texas. The incident occurred during a domestic dispute with her husband, Christopher Edward Anderson, who had a history of violence. On the day of the incident, a neighbor testified that she heard Tonya screaming and shouting at Christopher to leave before hearing gunshots. Tonya's son, who was present in the apartment, called 911 to report the shooting.
