Joshua "Josh" Williams, a 13-year-old African American boy from Arlington, Texas, tragically lost his life on July 23, 2021. The incident occurred at the Artisan at Rush Creek Apartments in Southeast Arlington, where Josh and his 17-year-old brother, Kaleb Williams, were fatally shot during a fight that began at a nearby barbershop. The altercation escalated, leading to gunfire at the apartment complex. A third juvenile was also injured in the shooting and taken to the hospital.
