On June 24, 2024, at approximately 7:24 p.m., Arlington police responded to a shooting in the 400 block of Claire Court. Upon arrival, officers discovered 18-year-old Jesus Galarza of Fort Worth and a 20-year-old man, both suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle riddled with bullet holes. Both victims were transported to local hospitals; the 20-year-old sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while Galarza was in critical condition.
