Carlos Veliz Jr., a 33-year-old man from Abilene, Texas, tragically lost his life on August 31, 2021. His body was discovered in the parking lot of a convenience store on East South 11th Street in Abilene. According to court documents, Veliz was shot at another location approximately two hours before his body was found. Investigators determined that Veliz was involved in an argument with someone inside a crossover sport utility vehicle at the undisclosed location.
